Architectural Technician - 12 month contract daily rate or fixed term - Edinburgh

Our public sector client based in Edinburgh has an exciting opportuntiy for a skilled Architectural Technician to support a major programme of work conserving specialist improvement works.

Essential skills:

• Experience of and be competent in the use of AutoCAD.
• You will have a sound knowledge and experience of modern building construction practices and detailing.
• Working knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrable experience of production of Scheme Designs, Construction Drawings and Specifications.
• Knowledge of Building Standards and Planning process.
• Awareness / experience of the use of GIS software (ArcMap or similar) to create/analyse GIS data.
• Knowledge of repair & maintenance of traditional Scottish buildings.
