Business Analyst (HR Systems)

Our client, an international retailer, requires an experienced Business Analyst to work on HR related projects:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and understand complex business processes
  • Gather and understand business requirements for People Systems (HR Technology) across the organisation
  • Options analysis of potential technology and business process solutions to requirements, including commercial modelling
  • Work with technical analyst to translate business requirements in to technical requirements across the HR technology landscape
  • Work with vendors during RFI and RFP processes to understand and analyse options and best fit to meet requirements
  • Contribute content to a transformation business case for future state of the People Systems (HR Technology) landscape



Essential knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level with 5+ years of business or process analysis experience
  • Understanding of the HR business value chain (recruit to retire) is highly desirable
  • HR Information Systems implementation experience is highly desirable
  • Gathering and developing functional requirements as well as process development experience required
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of perspective.
  • Flexibility, curiosity, enthusiasm, passion.
  • Very strong customer orientation
  • Possess excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills essential
  • Commercial modelling experience highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with significant experience working across complex organisational structures
  • Ability to explain technical topics/solutions in simple language
  • Demonstrated vendor engagement experience
