Commercial Analyst - Contract - Dublin

P2P - PTP - Purchase to Pay

  • The main purpose is to develop and implement efficient and effective ways of working around suppliers and budget management, as well as a robust approach to producing key management information packs for IT.
  • This will include management and involvement of the IT dashboard covering key department metrics
  • The role will require you to collaborate across IT and with key stakeholders in finance


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the IT team and finance, develop and implement key improvements around operation of purchase to pay process within an IT context, ensuring improvements deliver benefits across the stakeholders involved (ICT, Finance and suppliers).
  • Create and embed an appropriate approach for managing our supplier governance that ensures ongoing visibility of status, risk & issues
  • Enable the efficient and timely production, review and distribution of ICT management information packs to support the ICT management process including dashboard management and evolutions
  • Building on the current commercial foundations, develop and implement a robust framework that will ensure our management reporting is consistently accurate, timely, with risks, issues and mitigations called out. This will focus heavily on our opex, capital and KPIs.
  • Support the Manager, Commercial Planning and Control around business case development ensuring costs and benefits are appropriately captured in the IT budgeting process where relevant
  • Leverage existing tools and processes where appropriate


Knowledge, skills experience:

  • Experience with developing and implementing operational frameworks
  • Operational experience in a PTP environment would be an advantage
  • Good people leadership experience required
  • Strong commercial and financial experience essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve product design and technical issues
  • Good collaboration and partnership capabilities
  • The ability to build trust and relationships up-and-down the organisation
