Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Administrator with our public-sector client for a 6 months contract £122.20 - £142.963 per day based in Glasgow.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administration support for the processing of approved funding requested for individuals and procured group activity.

Main duties:

  • Working closely with Finance/Agresso Team to resolving queries in relation to the processing of payments or new supplier due diligence
  • Supporting Customer Service team with system updates and resolving issues in relation to implementing changing operational work practices
  • Booking Events, Travel and Accommodation for TTF core team
  • Processing of approved TTF and STEM funding requests for individual and procured activity work streams within 5 working days of submission via Agresso and in exceptional circumstances the preparation and submission of BACS payment files
  • Acting as a point of contact for external providers in relation to payment, eligibility and processing queries in addition to providing PACE Tracker support for TTF procured/contracted training providers

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience of working in an operational delivery environment
  • Finance administration experience
  • Proven experience in providing services and meeting the needs of internal
  • stakeholders
  • Higher / SVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent qualifications at SCQF

level 6 or above

Desirable Skills:

  • General understanding of skills and transitioning opportunities of the Oil &
  • Gas & STEM workforce
  • Understanding of PACE
  • An understanding of the Scottish Skills, Learning and Employer Services system
