IT Helpdesk Technician - 6 Months - Edinburgh - Windows 10, Outlook, Office 365

Our public sector client based in Edinburgh has an exciting opportuntiy for a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician. You will be responsible for providing 1stand 2nd line support, resolving issues, logging calls and incidents and providing excellent customer care and other tasks invloved with Windows 10 rollout project.

Essential skills:

  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10. Also proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, in Office 2016 and Office 365
  • Recent experience of providing first and second line support in a large, networked environment
  • Experience of supporting smartphones/tablets, laptops and remote users
  • Experience of using an incident management software package, preferably Assyst, to record incidents and update configuration items
