Homelessness Implementation Officer - 6 month contract - East Renfrewshire

Our public sector client based in East Renfrewshire has an exciting opportunity for a skilled housing professional with a background in homelessness prevention. You will be responsible for implementing a new homelessness action plan, reviewing the effectiveness of temporary accommodation, developing proposals for homelessness prevention and conducting relevant research.

Essential skills:

  • Knowledge of homelessness policy and legislation
  • Expereince of developing policy
  • Excellent IT and communications skills
  • Expereince of working within a homeless prevention or housing role

The ideal candidate will have previous expereince of working with the public sector in a role focusing on homelessness prevention. Please be advised successful candidates will be required to apply for a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland certificate.
