HR Admin - Compensation & Benefits specialist £25k-26k.

Are you an enthusiastic, highly organised administrator to assist a busy Compensation & Benefits team in an excellent legal organisation.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and an ability to win the confidence and respect of others, able to work methodically and effectively under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.


Computer literacy, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, is essential and exposure to Crystal reporting software is desirable, however training on this will be provided.


This HR department has a complement of 20 HR professionals based in the London office. We are hardworking and committed and is closely integrated to deliver a valued service to the business.

You will be part of a Compensation & Benefits team that are regularly quoted in trade magazines and Employee Benefits Live, and were runners up for 'Best Flexible Benefit' and 'Best Benefit Strategy' awarded by employee benefits magazine in 2014.


Areas of focus and responsibilities - Compensation and Benefits

  • Administration support of annual processes (e.g. flexible benefits, salary review research, bonuses, budgeting and benefit renewals)
  • Supporting Compensation and Benefits Manager with the administration of the Auto-Enrolment (AE) of pensions monthly process and AE generally
  • Administration/processing of benefit requests and logging onto Flexible Benefits portal to ensure accurate record keeping at all times
  • Providing accurate and timely information to HR colleagues in relation to joiner/leaver benefits and other such requests as they arise
  • Management and general report building using Crystal Reporting
  • Providing accurate and timely information to HR colleagues in relation to joiner/leaver benefits and other such requests as they arise
  • Responding to surveys (e.g. Towers Watson quick surveys)
  • Responsible for the general upkeep and administration of the Flexible Benefits portal - including auditing the portal on a quarterly basis and ensuring any information gaps are addressed
  • Ensuring the Compensation and Benefits Hub is always up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Project work - including policy writing/process notes, drafting documents and undertaking research


Areas of focus and responsibilities - Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Administrative support of all CSR initiatives (COTY/fundraising, volunteering/pro bono and environmental)
  • Drafting internal and external initiative communications and producing creative PowerPoint presentations as required
  • Organising CSR champion and other meetings as necessary/taking minutes of the meetings
  • Ensuring the fundraising spreadsheet is always up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Ensuring the CSR Hub on the Intranet is always up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Responding to internal and external CSR enquires
  • Ensuring that all correspondence is appropriately filed with correct naming convention in the CSR e-filing structure/opening folders as necessary
