Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst with our public-sector client for a 3 months contract £115 - £120 per day based in Edinburgh.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a professional and customer focused first line business service and technical support. Liaise with customers, colleagues and 3rd parties by phone, email and face to face in order to log incidents, service requests and other IT changes. Resolve as many incidents and requests as possible at first point of contact with the customer assigning to 2nd / 3rd line support or external suppliers as appropriate.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, empathise and reassure customers (Leading and communicating)

  • Significant technical competence with IT, familiar with using and supporting Microsoft Office, e-mail, and business applications (Technical skills)
