Lead Digital Performance Manager/6 months + /Glasgow / £400 - £500

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Digital Performance Manager with our public-sector client for an initially 6 months contract £400 - £500 per day based in Glasgow.

Our client is looking for Lead Digital Performance Manager to:

  • assess the current web analytics landscape and operational key performance indicators with the Service manager and Business Planning to draw up a strategy on digital performance measurement.
  • Assume product ownership over performance platform
  • Build in-house capacity and manage the Digital Analytics team
  • Identify design patterns and technical implementation that enable development team to implement appropriate measures against the strategy
  • Design and implement performance dashboards that support decision making that improve customer and operational concerns
  • Support the Service Manager and Product Owners to make sure their service meets the performance requirements
  • Communicate service performance against key indicators to internal and external stakeholder
  • Provide high-quality analysis of transaction data
  • Support the Product Owners and DevOps teams to understand the data and the importance of the data they require to maintain and improve services
  • Identify delivery obstacles to improving transactional performance and working with teams to overcome those obstacles
  • Where required, work as part of a multi-disciplined team to design user focussed and successful services

Essential skills:

  • Experience in the use of data analysis, web analytics and visualisation tools eg Google Analytics, Google Refine, Tableau etc
  • Experience of providing performance analysis and recommendations on digital public services
  • Identifying a range of relevant and credible information sources and recognise the need to collect new data when necessary from internal and external sources
  • Recognising patterns and trends in a wide range of evidence and draw important conclusions
  • Exploring different options outlining costs, benefits, risks and potential responses to each
  • Make effective use of project management skills and techniques to deliver outcomes, including identifying risks and mitigating actions
  • A track record of capturing, utilising and sharing customer insight and views from a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure better policy and delivery
  • The ability to confidently engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels to generate commitment to goals
  • Be able to communicate using appropriate styles, methods and timing, including digital channels, to maximise understanding and impact
  • Exemplify positive customer service behaviours and promote a culture focused on ensuring customer needs are met
  • Line management, direction-setting and objectives setting
