Job Description

Marketing and Communication Manager - Edinburgh - 2 months

Experienced Marketing & Communications Manager required for approximately 8 weeks to support an Incident Reporting and Investigation centre develop a communication and engagement plan. This role is based in Edinburgh.

Working with the IRIC Manager the successful candidate will review the current approach to communication and promotion of the service, review customer feedback and develop a strategy to help increase awareness and engagement with the service across the organisation.

Essential skills/Experience required include but should not be limited to -

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent with a post graduate qualification in marketing, communications, digital or equivalent field
  • Sound experience in a marketing, communications or digital role within a complex organisation
  • Well developed skills gained through extensive experience in a related specialism
  • Demonstrate technical marketing, communication or digital skills
  • Experience of developing, delivering, maintaining and measuring marketing communications and digital strategies to meet objectives
  • Experience of implementing tools and methodologies of evaluation and/or quality improvement and/or performance assessment
  • The personal credibility and interpersonal skills to form effective relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Experience of summarising and interpreting complex information into concise and easily understood formats and presenting to a range of internal and external audiences and interest groups
  • Proven ability to work and contribute effectively within and across teams, focusing at all times on the delivery of high quality services to the team's customers
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
