Oracle IT Transition Lead

Contract. Dublin. £650-£700 P/D . 6 Months + . Global Retailer

Oracle IT Transition Lead required urgently to review and update the IT Operating Model post Oracle R3/R4, facilitate Oracle Service Introduction activites and coordinate demand and dependancy management.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review and update the ICT Operating Model post Oracle R3 and R4 including:
o Demand management processes for the Oracle Platform
o Release strategy for the Oracle Platform (annual, enhancements, maintenance releases)
o ICT service management, supplier management and performance management processes
o Governance model to cater for the above processes
o ICT organisation design

* Facilitate Oracle Release 3 and Release 4 Service Introduction activities, including:
o Execute/refresh ICT Knowledge transfer training needs analysis
o Perform ICT Knowledge transfer planning in partnership with Wipro
o Coordinate acceptance into service for Oracle Release 3 and Release 4 in partnership with the ICT Service Delivery Managers
o Coordinate procurement activities with ICT and Project Oracle to on-board support partner for Oracle Release 3 and Release 4
o Coordinate procurement activities with ICT and Project Oracle to perform amendments to existing supplier contracts to cater for Oracle Release 3 and Release 4 changes

* Demand and Dependency Management. Act as the single point of contact from ICT for Project Oracle, responsible for:
o Coordinating with ICT BSMs to identify potential demand from ICT projects to the Oracle Programme and follow it through the joint ICT & Oracle change impact assessment process.
o Coordinating with ICT BSMs and Project Managers to obtain an accurate reflection of status, progress and key risks/issues for projects that the Oracle Programme depends on for delivery
