PMOdministrator / PMO / Inside IR35 / Yorkshire / Contract / 3 Months / £250 - £300 Per Day

This PMO Administrator role is working for a large public sector client.

With experience as a PMO Administrator, you will need to be able to work flexibly and consultatively to balance priorities and organise work to key milestones. You will be comfortable in dealing with academic and financial information in order to solve problems and successfully support programmes

As a PMO Administrator, your main duties will include:

  • Working with Project Managers to assimilate and track key information regarding projects, programmes and portfolios including resourcing capacity and skills, milestones, benefits, risks, dependencies and assumptions, seeking clarification where milestones haven't been met and escalating issues as required;
  • Establishing and maintaining a library of project and change management best practise toolkits and templates to improve quality in project and programme delivery
  • Arranging and supporting project meetings, programme and project boards and gateway reviews in line with project plans and gateway schedules, providing key information packs and management information, taking minutes and following up on actions and audit logs
  • Arranging and supporting assurance health-checks for strategic initiatives, attending interviews with project managers and documenting findings
  • Collating and drafting project and programme status reports, risk registers and benefit logs

As a PMO administrator you will have:

  • Strong problem solving and analytical capability and confidence in dealing with, and effectively interpreting and communicating, financial, performance, strategy and organisational information
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop effective working relationships at all levels
  • The confidence and ability to use own initiative to know when to challenge information and escalate issues
