Project Support Officer - Business Change

Contract. Coventry. Public Sector. Outside of IR35. £250-£300 per day. Immediate start!!

Project Support Officer with a focus on business change required immediately in Coventry.

The role

  • Contribute to the development and active improvement of the Change Programme Plan, ensuring a coherent set of planned activity and dependencies identified.
  • Work with the Change Programme Business and Strand Leads to monitor progress against delivery of the Plan and to identify key risks and issues
  • Provide progress reports/ risk registers to the Change Board (SRO) and where required support in the development of reports for the Executive Committee Meeting.
  • Produce first drafts of papers, presentations and other communications materials as required
  • Lead on the relationship between PMO and corporate communications to ensure effective messaging to the business.
  • Support and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects within the change programme agenda, this will include ensuring projects adhere to agreed deadlines and appropriate documentation is in place.
  • Act as an assurance role in governance boards for programmes/projects, providing the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) with advice and guidance on best practice.
  • Implement guidelines, procedures and templates to collect and maintain project and programme data. Ensure that project reporting conforms to corporate standards and that reports are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure complete, timely and accurate information is collected in a consistent form to enable effective decision making. This can include support project governance meetings including record keeping, and maintenance of action logs.
  • Provide any 'other' necessary support on the delivery of the Change Programme.
