Software Automation Tester / Software Development in Test
Automation / C# / Java / Agile / - Manchester / Salford Quays
What we've got is a rare opportunity to take your existing skills in Automation Testing and/or Software Development in Test into a company who have a small offering in Test Automation but needs YOU to take things to the next level. As a business they are well established and have been consistently growing their agile focused technical teams over the past few years. You'll be working closely with the development team within an Agile environment, testing software, web applications and 3rd party systems, and will have the chance to put your own stamp on things by bringing expertise with both Selenium Automation testing and more importantly, your ability to script Selenium in C#, Java, or Ruby.
This is a proper Software Developer in Test role where you won't just be running automated scripts in Selenium, you'll be planning, writing and executing them from scratch and could end up being the pioneer for automated testing across the company. You'll work closely with the Test Manager (who is a great example of the career progression you can get here) in order to design, build and maintain testing solutions. You will be adopting both Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment, testing Web API's and will have a voice to implement your ideas within the business.
- At least one object oriented language e.g. C#
- Automated testing with Selenium
- Experience of RESTful API Testing
- Previous exposure to working in an agile environment
