Technical Business Partner - Marketing Operations

Perm. Global FMCG. London Or Surrey. £40-£55k Per annum. Bonus, Healthcare and Pension.

Technical Business Partner - Marketing Operations required to join a Global FMCG company. As a Technical Business Partner you will join a team of internal and external resources providing business partnering, business / requirements analysis and definition, and project leadership on technology programs supporting the Global Marketing function. Projects could be in any technology, but will mainly be focused on Salesforce, SharePoint/O365 as well as exploratory activity in new technologies. This will require the BP to work closely with global functional and non-functional teams, internal and third party suppliers, so will require the development and maintenance of strong, effective relationships to enable delivery of program objectives and assure end-user experience of Consumer Operations Platform applications. The COTBP will be responsible for understanding and developing business needs on an ongoing basis, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, delivering projects within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.


  • Experience in working in a customer-facing role where great partnering was a key success factor. You may come from an account management background.
  • Experience of creating and/or administering a Salesforce application(s)
  • Experience of creating and/or administering SharePoint / O365 site(s)
  • You will have a passion for technology and can demonstrate an understanding of technology and its relevance to modern business that will inspire confidence in stakeholders and partners
  • Business Partnering and/or account management experience where understanding and definition of business requirements is a key success factor
  • Experience delivering small-medium scale projects with a global team
  • Confident in use of MS Project, managing project budgets and stakeholder reporting
  • Experience of stakeholder management with Senior Leaders
  • Awareness of the application development life cycle and the relevance of DevOps theory
  • Understanding of different IT disciplines in Application Development through to Service Delivery and Operations
  • Understanding of marketing operations would be beneficial
