User Research Lead - 6 month contract - Edinburgh

Our public sector client based in Edinburgh has an exciting opportuntiy available for a User Research Lead to plan, design and carry out user research activities to support a major ongoing programme. You will be responsible for advising digital teams on adopting user centred practices, acting as an advocate for user research and supporting teams to continually improve and innovate their user research practices.

Essential skills:

  • Experience of working as a user research lead to manage the delivery of field and lab based user research studies in a design and /or delivery environment.
  • Proven experience of working effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds ensure that robust user research and testing methods are used.
  • Proven experience of communicating complex problems to people with different backgrounds and perspectives.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working in a public sector context.
  • Track record of user research where both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies are used
